Academic Support Specialist
“MindFit has been a highlight in my time here at WVU. This program provides a people-centered, holistic approach to learning that emphasizes the value in the educational process with the goal of assisting students in their journey to becoming lifelong learners. Every student, tutor, and staff member work closely to make that statement a reality. Being a part of this process has taught me that people can achieve anything they set their minds to with the proper support system and mindset.”
As MindFit’s Academic Support Specialist, Erin provides one-to-one individualized academic support to help students on their journey to becoming lifelong learners. This individualized assistance can include helping with goal setting, organization, time management, and learning strategies.
Erin recently graduated from West Virginia University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and English. During her undergraduate years, Erin worked at MindFit in multiple capacities, volunteered as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Perone’s Experimental Analysis of Behavior Laboratory, and was a member of WVU’s honors college.
As Erin begins her new role, she hopes to continue her journey with MindFit, and can’t wait to keep helping students achieve their goals.
